Can anyone tell me once the prov. park is closed for the season, are the gates left open to the park so a person could use the boat launch still?

Not sure if they close the gates at Newell cause it's a Provincial Park. There is a launch at Kinbrook Provincial Park and one at Lake Newell Resort.
Kinbrook is free of charge, LNR has a launch fee.

Crawling Valley closes it's gates end of Sept. till good ice up. It's an invasive species deterrent. No one there to inspect your boat
Maybe call EID (Eastern Irrigation District) they can give you info on all the Newell County waterways.

Unless they are changing things, there are no gates. I have launched there as late as Nov 1st.

Also the park never full closes, they leave a couple loops open so you can camp there year round but have to self register.

It’s open year round. They even keep a few sights open for camping use. We use it every year

Does anyone know when rolling hills launch closes?

They should still have the gates open next weekend for people to pull there trailers out of the campground, but sadly they are closed after that.
