Default Hastings Lake

Have any of you fished Hastings Lake lately? I hear that it used to be really good. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hastings was great 10 years ago. You could catch 100 perch a day. Out of that many about 10 were between 10"-12".

I think the lake has dropped drastically. Still it is worth a shot because it is so close to the city.

I have not heard of any reports. The government did stock some perch this year. There are no Pike in the lake.

Hastings Lake wasn't listed on the stocking report this year (at least I didn't see it)

I think i am heading there tomorrow for a ski-doo test run, so I might as well dip a line while there. I`ll report back then and let you know what we find.

Tried today, no luck. a minnow swam up the hole, I caught it with my hand........ don't think that counts as a catch.
