Long Lake near Boyle Report

Well been with a buddy to Long Lake this past weekend Sunday, first time there, a nice looking lake , will be heading there in the summer for sure...,
fishing was very slow, maybe cause we got there a bit late as we made it to the lake at 12 noon, lots of fish registering on fish finder but hardly any takers..., we had tipups set with nice jumbo smelts not even a sniff, caught 2 small pike on perch rig with meggots we packed up about 4:30 pm and headed for home, the weather was wonderful.
