Perhaps i am 5', that's the beauty of pictures fish are never that big. I didn't measure it personally but the biologist that tagged, tested and DNA'd the fish did and that's the number she gave us. If you would like her info i can happily forward it to you and you can second guess her?

It looks to be about 24-26 inches and probably weighs in the 4.5-6 lb. range.

Just kidding. That fish is all of 14.5 pounds,no doubt about it. What an absolute pig of a Walleye.

Congrats on a true trophy.

Absolutely a fish worth cherishing! Great picture with the cedars in the background. I like the darker grey color on that fish.

Don't mind BeeGuy, that's his way of contributing in a positive manner to our outstanding community.

Great fish no doubt there but I think the length measurement is a bit off? Weight is on for sure

Caught last fall in Mara Lake BC on it's way to Mabel Lake to spawn. This was 40 lbs, biggest fish I ever caught. Caught about 5 more that day. Caught on a chrome apex at 42 feet 2.7 mph.

Stood on the bridge at Enderby one summer, saw a bunch of those swimming by, quite an incredible sight. I guess some kid the day before got a 40 pounder off the bridge, had to jump in someones boat to land it.

I would assume we're being strung along....not sure. That is a hawg crappie, not to mention the perch and the walleye....I guess if you fish all the flippin' time, those numbers might be reachable.

But seriously, FishingMom, I think there is some poor innocent turtle somewhere that needs saving from its painters........er, murderers.....
