Default GPSL trip 2013

Getting pumped about heading west the kids tell me that we have 5 days before we are at the lodge. Taking the family this trip. Kids are getting excited and counting the days until we leave.

Will keep the AO crowd up to date with happenings and pictures.

The fishing report is that they are still biting hot and they are catching Tyee just about every day. Hope to see one of our group get one 50 plus.

Looking forward to seeing Jamie and his family again.

Got to finish up some of the honey due list before we go.

Thunder, this should be a great time!
Lots of big fish around.
Lodge is running like a top.
This will be fun!

Thunder made it last night. Big group, kids are having a blast.
One report from the water today speaks of over 15 double headers and no more than 5 minutes with out a hit!

Sounds like the start to another great trip.

Default just returned

I just got home from GPSL yesterday, i had never been salmon fishing before but my good friend jamie talked me into it and now i think he will be in trouble with my wife as i will be pushing to make this a annual trip. though i have never been fishing on the coast i have stayed in this type of set up before and i was very impressed with how organized everything was, from when we arrived to when we left. the guides the camp staff and the hunt family were completely in sync with eachother and all we had to worry about was catching fish and trying not to drink to much and ruin our next days adventure. the lodge is amazing and the food was over the top. Thank you jamie and family and staff for showing me the trip of a lifetime.

i will post some pics once i have time

Quick update from the water
I am out with my Son and brother on the Lodge boat.
With my personal lack of skills, (that's why I hire the best guides) lolo
We are only able to handle one rod and keep the gong show out of the boat.
Anyhow, it's nuts out here. Over 25 to the boat and a healthy mix of coho and chinook. We have been here 2 hours.
Gota love Rupert!

Jamie
