What’s a used VX-3L worth ?

Looking at a used Leupold VX-3L 3.5-10 x 50.
It looks to be in ex condo but fellow says he has no box.
So a scope that was valued at aprx $1700 new 5 years ago, should be worth what?
He’s asking $750.

I might move on this one at $750 obo, maybe $600 ?
