Default Lessard lake pics

Took a little ride out to Lessard lake to test my 57 Johnson 5.5hp after installing new coils . Did some fishing while we were at it . I was surprised at how nice this little lake was. no algae ,has the usual weeds but not weed choked like some lakes. We caught about 8 pike in an hour of fishing and one that was 68cm. Pictured. We also caught a couple that had these big sores on em ,I have not seen this before..
The motor ran sweet as can be by the way . she idles down so low it just putts but doesn't stall. what a perfect fishing motor. Anyway ,tried to get some action shots with my phone . enjoy...

Actually it's a Lucky strike perch pattern spoon . Always keep 3 or 4 in my box . Here is a link to video of the old 5.5 if anyone is interested

Thumbs up

That motor is a nice looking piece of the past, nice to see it up and running doing what it is supposed to do.
