Default Pike fishing pics .

Went out the last 3 weekends and did some pike fishing. The bigger fish were caught at wab yesterday. Some really interesting color on 2 of the fish. One half of their head and body was very pale. One big fish from wab and a smaller one caught at mayatan. Not sure what could of caused it.

hmm weird, my theory is that the pike was trying to recover from a possible bad release from a previous hook up and was maybe laying on its side and the sun could have discolored it...I know that walleye will lose color when in a live well. Nice size pike though.

Always a great day when your fishing! 2 face was 34" and the other big guy was 37". Caught about 5 in that size range in 6 hours and a bunch of 24" - 30"

Well they did dump a rail car or two of fence post treatment into the lake. I'm surprised they are only slightly discolored. Lucky they didn't grow legs and head into the village looking for dinner. Snakehead II the movie....much better than Sharknado!

Just kidding. Nice fish. Thanks for posting the pics.

when i caught the first one i just figured it was a birth mark or something. But when we caught the bigger one in a different lake it made me wonder. The discoloured section is identical on both fish. Left side from the tip of the nose half way down the body.
