vehicle down near Canyon Creek, there are many pressure ridges and currents in this lake.At the narrows your line will be off to one side of the whole in the morn and the opposite by night fall. The fishing has been decent,17" normal Slave walleyes.

Fishbatter are you saying a vehicle went thru at canyon Creek? I heard that 2 cracks about a foot wide had opened at canyon creek in last couple weeks but I heard they had frozen over now and Ice was good. Any current updates for Canyon creek

I was at canyon on Tuesday and the bridge is a lot better, but exactly the same width as a 3/4 ton, and after I wiggled across that, I failed to make an immediate sharp left hook and I found the second crack with my front end, there might still be some plastic pieces I didn't find from a new cummins for a marker (your welcome). Coming out we went across the gap just down from the bridge as it was covered up and appeared "frozen". We looked like Bow and Luke Duke as our heads bounced off the roof and made it across. The trailer we were towing won the contest as it caught the most air. Don't let this discourage you, cause there was a Chevy Mini van out there and he seemed to have less troubles than us.

I've heard that a little earthquake happened last night over there, another couple versions, sudden change in temperatures and extreme wind conditions.
See more pics HERE
