Was at Lessard on the weekend for most of day Saturday, non-stop micro Perch (3-8") all day long , got a few nice 70" plus Jacks on tip-ups. Most people talked to same kind of day. Good for kids as camera screen was alway's fun to watch as big ones went by smiling!!!

I was at Lessard on saturday. Went around where everyone else was fishing and did not have much luck, so went back to where the campground is drove on there, went near the access to the first bay on the right hand side. Non-stop baby perch (tiny). A couple of my friends that came out have never caught fish before so it was a fun day because is was just one after the other. Largest perch caught was around 9"(only 1). Had a tip-up set up a little ways deeper, and caught 24" and 28" jacks.

Yes very small perch and lots of them on the right side of the bay there, but had the camera going all day and did see quite a few bigger ones looming in the area here and there, we only ended up with around 7 keepers all in that 9" range and thats not very good for a 6 hour shift on the ice. But all in all it was a beautiful day to be out fishin and not workin and those gators on the tipups adding to the excitement. And I do correct myself as i previously stated acouple in the 70"(Centimeters)Good lake to take kids for a day of action.

well went out this mornin for a few hours and caught a crap load of 5 inch perch. I know there has got to be some bigger ones but didnt really have enough time to explore. Saw a few decent sized pike on the camera as well.

Default perch

Sounds like there is a ton of little guys like other lakes around Edmonton.

It is getting harder to find the bigger guys every year.
