I have one in 280ai and it’s a tac driver, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another. One issue a had is a shear pin in the bolt worked its way out slightly making it harder and harder to cock the rife over time. I just took the bolt apart and pounded it back over into place, simple fix.

When I spoke with a shop who carries them, the owner said he figures in another 10 years most rifles will be carbon fiber barrels, he said everyone who’s bought a Ridgeline or Classic absolutely loves them, and they all seem to be tac drivers.

I called Christensen one time to find out what type of scope mounts were required and was transferred over to one of their tech’s. I bet we spent 30min or more talking about the rifles. Friendly and helpful, their customer service seemed great. Did I mention fit and finish was impeccable and they look bad *****?
