Default New stock pics

Well its finally done. For now anyway. I'll probably knock the shine down a little but I like it so far.

I ordered the stock in early January from Boyd's. It's the featherweight thumbhole. Steven's 200 7mm-08. Just have to shoot it now.

Hope you like it. Actually I don't care if you like it 'cause I do.

Default Well Done

You did a great job. My buddy is a dealer for the richards microfit stocks and I have a few. I know how much work you went through to get it looking like that! Hopefully it shoots as good as it looks!

I did pretty much everything except the bedding. I got nervous that I'd wreck it. After seeing how it was done and a couple little tricks that were used I'd do it myself next time.
Cost was 67 dollars plus shipping and taxes. I think the total was 90 bucks or so.

I know I just had everything thrown on it to try and get a weight. I came up with 7.5 lbs. on the dot.
I plan on getting something a little "prettier" before the season.
