Post Need help identifying animal droppings

Hello everybody, could you please help identify species from the droppings I found while scouting. I’m assuming it’s probably Elk… but don’t have any experience to say for sure.

Happy*Thanksgiving!

Looks like someone spilled a box of glosette almonds. Try one to see.

Only one way to tell for certain. If it tastes like alfalfa it’s probably an elk. If it tastes like willows it’s a moose.

When I worked up in GP scouting drill sites near Hines ck, I had an older colleague place a Hershey kiss beside a pile of droppings. I never saw him place it. then I watched him reach down and eat one. I was baffled. He was like....mmm fresh moose droppings, try one. I didnt but I though that was a pretty good gag when he fessed up.

We did the same thing at college with one of the professors. But it was Bridge Mixture. The darker chocolate ones look almost exactly like elk scat.

Enjoy the easy ride, anti hunters. Strange to me why we seem to be doing your job for you.

Excuse me while I go puke.
