Default rice breast

Anybody else ever find this in any ducks they've harvested?
First time I'd ever seen it this year in a mallard we got and it was pretty freaky.
A parasite that lives in the breast meat of the bird. Eventually weakens them and they die.
If you google it the picture is exactly what I found when I cut the skin open to get the breast meat out.

Saw something similar in a Ruffed Grouse taken in the Porkies. Rice Breast is a good description.

Aliens with a twist, instead of bursting out of the chest, they leave via the back door. Mother Nature is a cruel %^&$@.
