Default Grassy Lane Custom Meats - New Serepta, AB

Hi: Give Grassy Lane a call. They used to grind meat for a good price.

You won't regret it. We use Tofield Packers when we get a cow butchered and they are a reasonable price it is hard to justify doing a whole cow by yourself for what they charge. But it is nice to know how to and be able to do it yourself. My wife and I do all our game meat ourselves and it is quick and easy with a good grinder.

Freson Brothers ground and packaged some elk for me this last season. I can’t remember the cost, but I don’t think it was bad.

Another thumbs up for the 1 HP Cabelas grinder. It chews through meat as fast as you can feed it. I think it took me less than 10 minutes to grind up 70 pounds of trim last time I did it.
