Default Hiding your face while hunting?

Hi everyone. I was just wondering what methods everyone else uses to conceal their face while hunting? I have tried face paint and found it messy and covering my face with a balaclava or a handkerchief would seem to interfere with my anchor points. So I was wondering what if anything other people were using to conceal their face while bow hunting?

A beard a face mask and don't make eye contact are all key things to think about.

I wish. My complexion would be more suited to coyote hunting in January. Lol

I only wish I could go grow a beard good enough for concealment. Ha! Ha! not really, easier to deal with messy face paint 2 months out of the year then shave every day 12 months a year. I could go the entire hunting season without shaving to have a ressemblance of a goattie. And no, Iam not a teenager, more like 40.

Beard would help me stay warm in the winter.

I'm not one of those guys that grow facial hair on my cheeks lol.
So even with some facial hair I still use either tight fitting face mask or face paint.

Can't grow facial hair for work reasons (client facing) and have tried the face mask too many times....

This year, I found some easily applied face camo, so that's what I'm going with (not sure how easy to come off - will have to try it on/off tonight)

Besides, face camo for us guys is the man's equivalent of blush for girls... Why should they get all the fun? Where's the equality? (Joking)

Over the years I have tried them all...hated the paint the most..most masks interfere with my anchors..beard drives me nuts..

Found a very breatable form fitting head sock called Camo Spandoflage-Headnet...made by Great Day Inc

and instead of cutting custom eyeholes, I cut a slit across the eyes...this allows me to pull the mask down under my chin when action is slow...and when its hot I simply ull up and only eyes are exposed...doesnt interfer with my shooting at all...
It is air conditioned, breathable and it keeps bugs off...

Paint is the way to go. On more than one occasion I have had a mask louse up my anchor point or worse, partially block my dominant eye.

New stuff is easier to wash off.

It would take me about 10 years to even grow a beard that would be visible...

Use your bow.

Merely hold your bow in front of your face, cams/limbs/wheels/strings provide great face cover...and nothing to alter your shooting form or anchor point.

Try it. Its free too...comes with the bow purchase price.

I stock up on tubes of paint after Halloween at Wallmart every year. It's a buck a tube, goes on easy, stays on ,washes off easy and NO SMELL to it. Much cheaper and better than the official Hunting face paint.
