Default Happy new year to all the leos, first responders, and medical professionals on the forum.

I know you guys get crapped on over everything even if it wasn't your doing and all the other bs, but I'd like to wish you guys a happy new year and all the best in 2014.

Just listening to the scanner tonight and (off the record, 4 suicide attempts, 1 successful) in whitecourt alone, you guys deserve a pat on the back. While everyone else is out having a good time, you have to be away from your loved ones and deal with all the not so good times.

Best of luck to all the rcmp, eps, cps, emts, nurses and doctors, and everyone else. You do a thankless job, but it would be a lot worse place without you.

I agree but tow truck divers, couriers, and anyone that has to work during the holidays should be included.

Thx Lee. I too had a busy shift, just got home to the family. No suicides this set but a few domestics and a bunch more crashes.

Happy New Year to you. FYI- Wct was my first posting.

Thanks Lea. Running all day yesterday with two hours OT at the end of my shift last night, finally got a chance to eat my lunch at the end of my 14 hr shift on the way back to the station. But I gotta say I wouldnt change a thing about my job for the world.
