Well went to Greg lake today, was beautiful all day and just might go back tomorrow. Caught 1 whitefish, had 2 others on and saw quite a few more. It took a while to find the right depths and good spots but I know where that is now When we first got there some idiots in a Hinton heating and plumbing van tailed us the whole way from town to the lake, then before I could say anything they drove right out there (I would not have driven on that ice at all) and from there started fishtailing and hammering the gas down and driving like complete fools.(wonder why people break through the ice eh) Then got out and started shouting foul language when there were a couple family's with kids around. Was a shame but other then those idiots it was a AWESOME DAY!!!!!!! Just trying to decide if I want to go to Obed or back to Greg. The lake was very clear to so that helped allot!
On the picture of the whitefish it looks like a pike or walleye took a chomp at it. ans it had indents and mouth pattern on both sides.
thanks guys! I hooked the white on a 1/4 ounce jig (pink with white eye) and a worm. Nothing was touching the minnows. I think I'm heading back out tomorrow so if I catch more I will post more pictures!
