Default a fun day out..

Here's the photos.. we had a good time.. Pulled in nearly 30 brookies.. had a Monster brown on.. Lost him .. he was hooked in the side of the gill and there was no way he was coming up. I was quite angry when I seen that down the hole .. Anyways, we kept a few males.. let all the females go.. and a ton of others.. we kept 4.

I was there 2 weeks past it was slow but the fish we pulled out were all good size. Felt weird driven to the city to fish.

you keep and eat things from a catch basin for the city of Lethbridge?

Nice fish but not sure I would eat anything from there!

Pike = tough to catch in the winter, easy to catch in the summer. Only way I've got it is Pink smelts work.. best bites on them.

Eating them from that lake.. they are great in the winter.. there's nothing wrong with them. I've kept lots of fish and so have alot of other people I know and no one's died and they don't taste muddy or anything They are great tasting fish. I'm still around

Hey man great job, wish I could have been there. Sounds like a fun day, did you see the big pike on camera again. And yes the fish taste great out of the lake. I have kept brookies and browns and people have said it is the best fish they have eaten. Kind of suprised me aswell. Just need to figure out those huge pike in there and i will be a happy fisher!!!!
