How's Chickakoo?

I promised to take the neighbors kids out ice fishing Saturday to give their mom a break. Has anyone been to Chickakoo in the last week? I know it's getting a bit late for the trout bite but I don't want to have to drive too far and it would be great for the kids to take something home.

Any info would be helpful. Thanks.
