Sad, but it seems to hit DFO's position right on the head!

OFF topic;
On another Fishing site, I got a Warning for using VULGAR language for posting the initials D.F.O., in response to a query as to who was responsible for commercial netting of Ab. lakes.
Funny thing is the Mod. is from Edmonton and obviously has no idea how DFO effects all our resources with the commercial side getting the advantage!

I didn't think about the language before posting...Mods delete if you find it inappropriate.

Default Halibut battle continues

The battle for access to Halibut continues with more and more of the average hard working commercial fisherman starting to speak out against the current system. They agree that the majority of quota owned and CONTROLLED by very few people, including a particular BC resident who is one of Canada's well known businessmen. This person and a very large player in the Quota ownership and fish processing world, and a short video clip has been made to show just how he feels about canadian access to his resource, that he does not believe should belong to you and I.

Funny, Sad but true how some people think...

Call or write your local MP and tell him that giving away Canada's resources like Halibut to individuals for profit is just wrong, and will be remembered come election time.
