Tremendous fish, congratulations. Rare to catch rainbows of that size, pretty exciting when it happens!
Did it take your leech while static, or were you working it on an active retrieve?

Just for everyone s info . I made sure the fish revived before it swam away. He was over legal size so I could have harvested the fish. But released for future catches.

Trout tend to remain more still when they're upside down, not to mention those Moby nets tend to make them stay more still for some reason. Great fish though!

Yes indeed a beauty fish. I only C&R myself and its lack of any movement had me concerned- many do need be manually revived and happily swim away. Gratz...even on your own fly
