Default Urgent- Need name of Edm Northside Small Engine Repair

Hello Fellow fishermen;

I heard there was a small engine repair shop, very close to the old twin drive inn off 137th avenue, does anybody know the name of the shop or even the phone number, I remember someone saying it was a simple shop - just an open bay and a one man operation!!

Your help is very much appreciated!!

Thanks in Advance

HW

I have nothing for you hw.
What's the issue with your small engine?

Some of us here have taken on the challenge of two stroke motors.

Last year was running great, poured the gas out at the end of the season, fired it up and let the gas run the engine out, stored it in my basement, just put new gas in it today with mix, tried to fire it up and nothing, seems like its not getting any gas as when I pulled the plug it was dry????

Your thoughts and ideas would be great!!

Thank You

Try "BJ's fix it repair and small engine" in St Albert. They do all sorts of 2 stroke repairs.....also they have been around a long time.

Have you tried a simple prime?
A small shot of fuel down the plug.

Serious here.
You need to create a vacuum.

I have a small snow thrower here.
Had it in storage for more than a year.
Nice light 2 stroke.
Same issue as yours.
Sparky was dry, so I gave it about a table spoon of fuel, reinstalled rhe plug and it's good.
Problem solved!
Your machine doesn't need an $90 bill.
That's money you could spend on lures or a tank of fuel in the chev.

I'm in Sherwood park if you want to come for a drive, but I think you can do this yourself.

I have dealt with Brian in refurbishing my Jiffy auger twice in the past 14 years. It still runs like a top after he rebuilds and fine tunes it. The contact phone number is 780-459-8212. The adress is 5501 Tudor Glen Market, St. Albert. www.bjsfixit.com

I would dump the gas, put a little bit of seafoam in the tank and let it sit for a day or so. Drain and fill with gas and try it. The filter may be gummed up and won't alow gas to flow. Check the gas lines, one line might be pinched.
