August Coho and Hali's
Well it's getting to that time of year. It's still not to late to make a trip out to the coast. A great drive with fantastic scenery.
As always, we don't charge for kids in this month and if the last couple of days are any indication of what our Coho season will be like, you can look forward to some incredible fishing for these big Northerners.
As for Hali.. WATCH OUT!!! It's getting time to start nailing the huge beasts that roam the Ocean floor around Prince Rupert. We aren't know as the Halibut Capital of the world for nothing. Then to top it off, we have come up with a special way of fishing these beasts of the sea. It's so imaginative, that we called DFO just to see if it is Legal. And after a few calls up the ladder, we have been given permission to use it. BUT we were asked to not broadcast it because it may change the way Halis are fished all over the coast.. I kid you not, that was the request from high up in DFO.
Lets get you out here for some fantastic sporting action in the next while. We will be reducing our lines down to 15 pound and lightening up our rods to give you a true sporting experience. Sure we have the ability to bonk everything, but we want our guests to experience all that the trip can offer. Thats why we dont fish heavy line and "Meat Rod's" in August. Enjoy the fishing and your trip as much as the catch.
