Default Just pick up mount from Sugar Creek Taxidermy

Picked up my mule deer yesterday from Marco and absolutely love it. Very happy with his work and service. First class gentleman. Thanks Marco!

Love the water drops on his whiskers, great detail and care he put into it.

That's a great deer and mount. Just curious, when I see a rack like that, I always think he was a true brute in his prime and has now reduced in age. Would you say he was an older buck?

Congrats on a super nice buck. Nice character.

He was an older buck for sure, teeth were worn right off. Not
Much left of them.

Great mount and deer, congrats.
Did you know the type of mount you wanted or did you look somewhere at different mulie mounts. I have to pick a mount for my deer from last fall soon and was wondering if there is a place to go to see many different mount styles.

Cheers,

SS

For starters you should stop by my place for a beer on your way home from work one day. I must have at least one new mount since you were last there!

Sorry to hijack Harv. I really like the mount and your buck. it is quite similar in structure (and age I suspect) to the buck I shot last year.

I had an idea of what I wanted, kind of the way he was when I was watching him for two days...chasing does around, head down most of the time.

My biggest Mulie Buck from years back had almost no teeth left but a half broken spike of a front tooth. He had recessed into almost looking like a typical whitey. Not a monster but big enough for me to wonder what he would have looked like in his prime.

I didn't notice the water drops the first time. Extra cool mount. Congrats again.

Great looking old Mulie.
Marco always does a superior job. I just got my ram back a week ago and it turned out amazing.
Thanks for posting
