Default Wireless dog fences.

I'm looking into getting a wireless dog fence, just wondering what people's experiences were... good bad or otherwise.

Thanks.

I run two. Both have 90yd radius. One is in my house one in the shop. This gives the dogs a figure 8 shape that keeps them in the yard. Currently have 4 red heelers( used to have a bluetick) never have had a problem with the system ( going on 12 years of use) only issues arise when I forget to change out the batteries or a dog ditches his collar some way.
* first thing I do when I get a new collar is remove it from the pos snap collar it's mounted on and remount on a good quality buckle collar. The system itself has been completely trouble free and would not hesitate to get another if the need arose

i have had both good and bad success .

first you have to read the manual or watch the instructional video . the dogs have to be trained and you have to train them .

our bernese mountain dog did not like pain and was a treat to train . our akita cross would stand in the "hot" zone and would get zapped repeatedly and did not care . she was more of a challenge , and she won .

I love ours. We ran wire all the way around our average, and have never had an issue with our dog. Just wish I could get collars for all the neighbours dogs...

Mine works fantastic.
I have 2 beagles out on our 3 acres.

Ran the wire around the entire perimeter, buried the line under the entrance of our driveway when the driveway got re-gravelled.

Zero complaints, works perfectly and gives us fantastic piece of mind. Open the back door and let them explore the woods. It’s 3 acres of woods, with a nice area cleared for our house.
