ATC to be handled by federal CFO with bill C-21

With the introduction of C-21 today by Bill Blair and Justin Trudeau

ATCs will no longer be issued by the Alberta CFO but by the federal CFO

Is this the end of ATCs for trappers in Alberta? I wonder what the new rules will be

I do not think we will have a problem getting a ATC , just needs to go to Ottawa. Probably want to by pass any Alberta CFO,s giving out handgun carry permits.

I suspect there will be no more permits for trappers. Looks like they are transitioning to a nation wide standard. Easier for one body/individual to restrict everybody than many individuals/bodies.
