Default Mule deer rut, same time as WT or not

I hear people say the mule deer rut is later than white tail.
Can anyone confirm this?

I found them to be a week or so earlier in my area.

I agree, the biggest ones seem to show themselves most frequently the last week of November

Over the last 3 years I have noticed Nov 19th seems to be the magic day... That's the Calgary area.

I agree late November is when the big ones get seen. But, I believe it is because the rut is pretty much done and they have already bred their herem of does and are out looking for one last chance to do some more breeding.

Default Rut

Guys elk rut in September, moose in October and both deer species in November. Picking one day is silly. It is like saying the fast girl back in your home town was only receptive on 3rd Saturday in month.
