Default Montucky Opens in less than 10 hours!!
Well I've waited 11 months for tonight! Tomorrow is opening day for general rifle here in Montana. I know several AO members are coming down for Elk hunts, just not sure when. I wish you luck and hope to see some great pictures and hear some good stories! If anyone finds themselves in Missoula area let me know!

Some beautiful country around Missoula. Bought an irrigator there few years back Good luck on the hunt.

Well first day down and nothing to report. I missed a shot on a running buck and kicked myself for wasting the bullet. Other than that I saw 2 guys dragging bucks out and a lot of elk/deer poop! Quite the site with all the Tamaracks turning through all the fog!! Heading back home talked with the Game Check station and they said the only things checked all day were 2 Elk and 12 Deer...Slow start for sure!!
