Need some info on Lesser Slave and Pigeon?

Planning a fishing trip near the end of july when my Gf is on days off. We are thinking of going to Lesser Slave Lake or maybe Pigeon Lake. I have been to Lesser Slave years ago and stayed at Shaws point and the fishing was awesome. They have everythng there as far bait and such as well as boat rentals just a long hike for us. Was thinking of Trying Pigeon but have never been there. We will be camping and would like to rent a boat if possible. Can anynoe fill me in on what is available there?

usually great fishing there! more for walleye though.. but not sure about the boat rentals thing
