This is real , i live in montana, this was all over the local papers and the dept. of livestock took the pics while they were investigating. There was one here a couple of years ago a guy shot a llama and tagged it then went to our local game processer to get it butchered had it tagged with his deer tag also a true story .

Default Lammaaaaa yum yum

Lammas dont have any teeth up top, just the bottom.
They have limited defense, they either run or they spit upto and with accurecy 20 feet or so.
I would hazard this as a joke of some sort.
Then again here in Vancouver it has been known that a certain ethic group has gone to the pound and saved a black lab and invite him to be dinner.

You'd be disturbed at how asinine people can be. When my mom worked at the Nordegg F&W office, they had a couple guy's come in who were going elk hunting. Well, the office had a head mount of a large elk on the wall. So one of the guys points to it and asks if it is a moose.

it's crazy how people will go hunting without knowing what the animal looks like. and if they don't know what they're hunting looks like how do they know what they're hunting?

What's sad is this guy never even got a ticket! The state couldn't figure out who the owner was so it was called a "feral llama". NOT illegal. No joke!

If he is a hunter, & I used the term lightly he should be required by the authorities to have to eat the said "Elk" completely. I'm sure the next time he goes hunting he will have a very good picture in his head the quarry he is killing.
Just my 2 cents
