Default Engine Replacement/Repair - Edmonton

Hi All,

Looking for a recommendation. Long story short, 2017 Ford Escape, 2.0L ecoboost, engine has blown the head gasket, which I gather is a common problem with this engine and a design flaw. Vehicle is pristine, only 96,000 KM and am wondering if anyone has a place they have used to either do engine work or replacement. Not looking for the cheapest, just honest and competent.

Thanks in advance,

Mark

Bill at Premium Auto. He was recommended to me by Dean2. He owns this small, but busy shop. He replaced the timing belt on a 2017 Ridgeline for me. Charged me what he said. Very reasonable. Greeted me with a smile, as did the rest of his staff. Struck me as a throwback to a different time. I’m a fan.

Contact Ford directly and see if they will cover it. If you bought new go to dealer and ask for help. You may get most of the bill or all of it covered.

Normally when the head gaskets blows its because the aluminum head is no good any more .
