Default trout night fishing

are trout active just after sunset in the winter as they are in the summer? I've never tried for them this way through the ice...

My best trout I've ever caught was at about 5:45-630pm on the ice. They honestly never slowed down at dark, they were active for a good hour after dark.

only double digits at the nearby lakes are in CM here. little further away can get ya some double digit in inches.
