Armor All....tires, dashboard, all interior, exterior, of hard plastic, rubber. Used to have a Defender 90 Land Rover, yellow/black, full role cage all four sides, zip windows, with half role top options, different leather top covers, when I was in my 20's. It was total off-road pimp stud mobile. I was obsessed with keeping it clean. Drive it once and wash it. Armor All was my cologne.

For Chrome I purchased a polish from Kenworth in Calgary. It shined better than anything I ever used before. 28 inch rims on a hummer and they sparkled.

As for interior, I am still looking for a good solution. I've found everything I have used so far (armour all, few others from Canadian Tire) have left my dash with a greasy finish.

I've been using Meguiar's car products for years. Their leather conditioner is fantastic, I use it on my shoes and my leather recliner too! Their vinyl care products (conditioner and cleaner) are first rate, as is their polymer spray wax. Makes waxing the cars so easy, and bugs clean off much easier too. They have a wide assortment of products.

I've had good results from products by Mothers or Meguiars. I once won a 'best detailed engine compartment' at one VW show, I prepped it by degreasing and scrubbing with Castrol Super Clean and a thorough rinse(corrosive lye type product, keep off aluminum or keep contact brief. Also wear eye & skin protection). I brushed every hose and intake boot, etc and then gave it a spray down with a Low Gloss Armor All product that seems difficult to find in stores these days.

For interior detailing I find an array of tools to be helpful, such as toothbrushes and a variety of paint brushes for the HVAC grilles and fingernail brushes for the carpeting. These brushes form Lee Valley do wonders on interior fabrics and seats. I scrubbed the entire headliner on a new-to-me Passat that had what appeared to be cola stains using them, and you don't want to use a brush that's too aggressive as it could damage such fabric.

A website that's got some neat car care stuff is Griots Garage: https://www.griotsgarage.com/

Auto Glym paint cleaner, then Wax. Also the cleaner and balm for Leather is awesome. Turtle wax Chrome polish.
Mothers Interior protectant for you're vinyl/rubber. Smells like Cherry, sounds weird, but it smells Awesome!
Can get all of them from CDN Tire.

303 protectant (can be hard to find) works much better for me than armor all. Doesn't leave a greasy feel.

Mothers for chrome polish

Meguiars for waxes, cleaners.

Lots of good stuff out there, these are what I prefer.

On a side note, the cheap 5(?) buck a green bottle turtle wax has worked surprisingly well for me over the years, although mostly on beaterish type vehicles.

ZAINO. Been using it for the past 8 years on all my vehicles. Order from the Canadian site, it will last you a long time.

I used this type of wax for black vehicles only on my dodge truck. Fair bit of work but outstanding results.
It’s been 2 years now and it still polishes great, if I get motivated I’m going to use it again this summer.
