Default Deep cycle batteries for sale

Anyone know if costco still sells 12v deep cycle batteries? Tryed to search the web, and came up with nothing. Those Kirkland class 27 -31 were good
And I'm gonna need one for the boat.

I buy mine from Walmart. They have a nine year warranty and if you keep your invoice they do honor it. I have had good luck with these. Crappy Tire batteries are just that, crappy and they often don`t honor the warranty. Replaced a truck battery last fall after 7 years and was given a pro-rated warranty by Walmart. Interstate are good as well but a bit more cost.

If you're in the Red Deer area, talk to Earl at The Battery Doctors. He'll be happy to set you up with whatever you need, and his prices are reasonable.

Costco has them in stock again and I plan on buying another one this week. This will be year 4 on the other one. I have room for2 tolling motor batteries and will use the old one as a backup when the new one gets drained.

Are you just using it for boating?
Or as a camper battery as well?
Would anyone think of pairing it with one of those portable solar recharging panels.
I bought a small one several yrs ago for my electric boat motor and its ok....but think I should have gotten a bigger one.

Any insights??

I use them on my boat. But you could use them on a camper also if you want. Not sure about the proper way of draining and charging for the different applications though. On my boat I have a trickle charger to all 3 batteries.
Solar panels would be cool never did it though.

The solar panel has gotten me out of a few jams after fishing all day.
It trickle charged my battery just enough to get me back to shore......very slowly LOL

Got had by the Canadian Tire prorated warranty recently. No one there could explain it to me , they absolutely destroyed my batteries testing them. Boiled both over , dumped baking soda on them then handed them back to me without any warning about acid. It took 2 hours to get 2 new batteries with pro rate warranty and it was only $48 less than I could have got them outright with their coupon. Now they have gone away from pro rating. Costco is way easier , but Lloyd doesn't have one.

We went to battery doctor to pick some up, 60 dollars for reconditioned ones. They should hold up, we get about 8 hours with a 30 lb thrust pushing a 14 ft aluminum boat thanks for all those replies

I have a group 27 deep-cycle from Costco (Kirkland) that I bought last year to run my trolling motor, and another group 27 marine-starting that I bought from Walmart (Everstart) 2 weeks ago.

Been very happy with both and they were under $100 each.

Where in Costco do you actually find these batteries? The snot nosed kid couldn't find them at all at the south side Edmonton store today.
