Isn't everything "about 10lbs"? Heavier than my phone, lighter than a quad, this I know for sure.
This would explain why when I'm making my packs of moose burger my 1lb packs can feed 4 people..... Twice
I think I've solved the mystery. The guy at Exile might have been mistaken when he told me all they had left was 8lb cannon balls. I've used downriggers quite a bit while fishing on the coast, but never my own boat, so I don't know much about rigging one up. Does this say 08, as in 8lbs, or 80, as in 80 oz's? If it's 80oz, I been duped! That's a 5lb ball.
I thought I had 4lb cannon balls, but I stopped in at exile while I was there, all they had was 8lb balls left so I grabbed a couple. Once I got to the lake I brought them to my boat and find out I had 8lb balls to begin with. I now have a spare set in case I rip one off!

The boy came home last night with 2 cannon balls he found in the school field! A 3lb'der and a 10lb'der. They look like they maybe had a run it with the mower, but are still in good shape.
