Default Best walleye fishery in Alberta

Just curious to see what people think is the best lake or river for Walleye in Alberta. I know what I think just wondering how many people actually know about this honey hole.

I truly believe that Lake "X" is the best at the moment.

However, since there's such little fishing pressure on Lake "Y" it could very well be my "go-to" Lake in the future.

Excellent Thread.

The best lake is probly Lac la Biche, as they have stocked it with over 50 million eyes over the last 5 years or so. Wonder when they will open it up.

Default You're all wrong.

You're all wrong, the best I have found is " down by the river. " It's my best duck hunting spot as well

The best is the Athabasca River where the Pembina runs in and up the Pembina abit .. if you check the Alberta Fish and Game Assoc new Trophy book they are listed as to where they were caught

Food for Thought

Also, can we think of something a little less, hmmmm gay, for our favorite place to fish.......every time I read honey hole it makes me laugh, no one else seems to find this funny?

I dont want to show anyone my honey hole, *yuck*
