Fishing by Lac La Biche, which lake is better
Hey guys,
Heading up towards Lac La Biche, wondering which lake is better. A buddy is bringing his 2 young boys, hoping to get them hooked so to speak. Heard Blackett has slowed down. Any suggestions, prob going for perch.
Thanks in advance.

Last weekend @ Laclabiche Lake was a blast !!!,
me and my partner hooked to over 80 perch in less than 5 hour time, pretty much one after another - it was by far the best perch ice fishing time we've had !!!,
Cheers!!
PS Heading back there tomorrow morning, can't wait !!!!

Morph, you kept those little twerps?? They are bigger at Golden Sands. Just drive across the lake and you will find them.

Well we went out to blackette, and the smallest boy (3 yrs old) caught the only fish, a tiny little pike...lol. Then went to pinehurst, and absolutely nothing. Anything from lac la biche? Wondering where to go tomorrow.

I'm going to a hockey tournament in Plamondon in a month. Last year we went up a few days early to go fishing but we couldn't find a place to get on the lake (honestly we didn't try super hard). This year i would really like to get some fishing in. Can anybody tell me where to go? We won't have quads or sleds with us but i do have a 4 x 4. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Perch in Lac La Biche are usually caught at about 20-25 feet. Be sure to bring them up slowly. People usually flock to the causeway to Sir Winston Churchill Provincial Park, but it has been really slow there this year. You might get the odd day where they'll be biting, but I haven't had one of those days there in the 6 or 7 times I've gone this year.
