6.5 creedmoor
The first rangeing group at 300m to see which dial to use for the bushnell yardage pro 1.5 inches, 16 inches low, put the C dial on.
The barnes140 gr Barnes match burner, with36.1 gr of H 4350 shoots very well in the Tika.
Very good advice from a AO member.
Saved me a lot of time and money,if I ever chance to meet him, he will indeed get a very big hug.

6.5 creedmoor
The AO has a solid core,Of reloaders, shooters, Ask for help, all you have to be is a good listener, many are willing to share there years of experience. And of course ignore the small percentage of the ever present negative element.

Glad to see that you were able to find an dial that worked on your first try. You may need to bring it out to 500m to confirm that it works, if you are only shooting out to 300m you'll do just fine.

6.5 creedmoor
The bushnell yardage pro--good to 300-400 m. The 6.5 creedmoor to much gun for this scope, will have to upgrade,if I want to do any gong ringing from 500m to 1000m.The bushnell a good bang around scope for the hunting season, the 2-3 in groups at 300m will do well with the press button instant range--along with the hard hitting 140 gr bullets available.

Nosler LRAB's have worked great for me. I got a passthru on a bull moose at a little over 250yds with the 150gr LRAB's in my 280.

Bergers
Bergers are a good hunting bullet and have a very high BC so they work well for target shooting also. If you use them then you dont have to load a for hunting and have another for target shooting. (dont have to re zero scope either)
Bergers method of killing is different than the typical approach. They believe in a wide wound channel and bullet fragmentation instead of weight retention. and exit wound. Downside is you can loose meat without good shot placement.

they explain it better than I do.

I tried the 190 LRAB in my 300wm with 3 different powders and 2 different primers and could not get them to shoot. I switched to 200gr ELDX and am getting 1/2-3/4” groups.
