She is talented in her shopping. many of us women are.
On saturday I spent $52.50 for 732.00 retail worth of Brand new clothing at a retail store. (not a thrift store)

I'm sure it will stay roughly the same percentage of your paycheck.

Usually over $100 a week for the two of us. Don't know how people can feed kids on 100 a week.

Actually it isnt hard.
No crap.

Examples:

Bowl of cereal (rice crispies, cornflakes or cheerio's) M-f
Eggs on weekends or pancakes/waffles

school lunches
1 apple sliced up
1 orange peeled
Jam sandwich or lunch meat
2 yogurts
some cheese and crackers

Dinner
Meat
starch
veggies

weekends we do a roast in the winter months. that makes left overs.
Whole bird also makes pot pies and soups.
Meatloaf
buy my rice in the huge bags they last 1 yr.
Buy the day old bread most of the time at 50% off. Goes into freezer.
Day old bread can be used to make stuffing.
Veggie ends can be used in soup stock so can chicken bones and such.
Never shop at co-op. Very rarely at safeway unless they have a deal on that is worth getting.
He also likes hard boiled eggs in his lunch

Kids are bloody expensive. Having 2 teenagers sometimes means there are 3-4 teenagers.

my grandfather used to say the same thing jokingly to my grandmother all the time, if you keep feeding them they will keep coming back.
