Non Lube Condoms and an elastic. or balloon should do the trick....Go to the range and try them out....you may get a few laughs when you open a condom box.

you can get finger condoms (used a lot in the food service industry, commonly found by the bandaids) they work great. plus you can always make a joke to the cashier "some men aren't as gifted..." then shed a single tear

I use a balloon and one wrap of electrical tape to hold it in place. Bring a few with you, they sometimes break while bushwacking

Reminds me of the time my father-in-law brought a box of tampons to moose camp.

They work great to hold scents though, and they come with a handy little string to hang them with!

If you are going to use a balloon or a finger condom, make sure you remove it at night as moisture will gather under it and it will start to rust. They work but be aware of that. I use sparky tape only. Takes a few minutes to get it all off afterwards but it is a better system IMO.

Disposable rubber gloves , cut the fingers off , they make great muzzle caps,

Inexpensive and more durable than condoms , or balloons

I would just run two or three strips over the ports and muzzle and then wrap it with more tape the length of your brake. Are you worried about getting the tape off and making a mess of your brake? Or shooting through the layers of tape? Barrel condoms or rubber gloves don't really cut it like good old electrical tape imo.

You can get pretty wide duct tape or scotch tape. Both would work well in your situation it I would reccomend the scotch tape.

I would check out finger condoms. They are for finger cuts after they are cleaned up to help them remain clean.
In all reality tape would work...just after your first shot it would all be blown into pieces everywhere. I did this last year after i found a twig through all the porting. Wide painters tape works well though.
