Default Does it count

Pulled a pike out of Newell today. When it hit the ice a perch popped out of it's
Mouth. After letting the pike go I went to pick up the perch, it started flopping around, there was not a mark on it. Put him back in hole and he swam away. Lucky day for him. Question is did I catch two fish at once.

Hell ya it counts!! Now if you would have burped the perch he might of spit up a crayfish & you would be a 3 for 1 rockstar!

That's what I was wondering. I was fly fishing the Highwood summer before last and got a nice trout on the line. As I got it in closer I saw a flash of a much bigger fish, then the weight on the line got really heavy, then after a moment they broke off. I figured a bull got my rainbow, would have been cool to land both.

What if the perch was dead...and it was closed for perch...and the game warden was standing there...would he still get credit for catching it??

I've caught a smallmouth that was attacked by a pike and brought 'em both in. You'd better believe I counted it as two!
