Default Successful day

Was gone to Brownlows late this morning with my dad but time didnt change the fishing status cause as a we got there about 500m out from shore saw 3 whites and 1 pike. Later on the day went out to the point and started jigging a daredevil spoon to get some pike but instead tons of 10-16inch perch trying to bite but the spoon was too big. But I noticed that the pike are very finicky with tip ups and spoons. Sorry i dont know how to upload pics here

Something tells me you're exaggerating there. If your spoon is too big for a 16in perch, you change that spoon immediately.

I changed it to a wire worm right away

The point was that a 16inch perch is a perch that goes on the mantelpiece, there probably weren't "tons" of them around. It's almost equivalent to saying that there were "tons" of 27-30in or 37-42in pike. That said, it's awesome to hear that you had a great day on the ice

Ummm not sure what you mean by wire worms were too big??? I used a size 2 hook(wire worm) and the 9 and 8 inchers had no problem biting.

I'm no expert but 16 inch sounds like record size perch. You know how they say that the camera adds 10 pounds, that might be the case here.

If u took pics, pm me and I will post them for ya

instead of bringing out the csi police...you should just pass by the few points that this young guy has stated and tell him that it sounds to me like you had a great day with your dad....harass him a little more and he will never post anything again...
