Angry a moment of silence please

Hello all.

Two days ago I bought a 2 pack rod and reel set from Canadian tire. When I got home I placed them on my box cover so not to forget them when a buddy picks me up to go fishing Sunday. Today I had to leave the house and forgot I had placed my new rods on my box cover. I'm afraid they didn't make it, I can't find them and pray that someone has and they are in a new home now a better home. But I fear that they could be smashed up laying on the side of a major road ( starting to quietly weep so the wife can't hear me) they were to young to die. They were still factory stiff. ( weeping has turned into crying) they weren't even out of the package

Why fish God's why, please forgive me it was an accident

Full blown tears

That sucks, but on the brighter side, at least you hadn't had time to get sentimentally attached to them yet.

You didn't buy them with a credit card by any chance that has:
Lost stolen or broken coverage included?

Would significantly reduce the pain :-)

With my VISA card you call them up and they send you a form to fill out and you send it back with original reciept and their insurance company sends you a cheque for the amount.
Has saved us several times over the years. The primium card cost of I think $140 a year more than has paid for itself.

I have lost stolen or broken for 90days and it also doubles manufacturers warrentte.

I lost my Leica rangefinder along Burnt Timber during hunting season. I knew the general vicinity where I'd lost it and decided to go have a look today, seeing that the snow was melting pretty good. I parked the truck and looked down and there it was laying on the ground. I had almost run over it. Boy, am I happy today. It still works perfectly.
