Been going to Keeley for many years but only went to Fern once a long time ago. Was tough getting over there and we didn't do well.

Keeley is pretty easy to get around on right now. Very little snow, some bad drifts but you just drive around them.

Default Keely

Been fishin keeley and canoe for last 15yrs or so. Always hit or miss at fern for me. Keeley is started to go in decline last couple years average pike is getting smaller. Walleye are ok Fun lake to fish. I wish everybody would through the bigger pike back. We don't keep anything over 10 lbs for pike. River system is phenomel to kayak through. New owners of lodge kind of dicks. They r the third owners now. Canoe is way better for cabins and cheaper. Only 20 min drive from keeley. It has one of the worst camp sites you'd ever see. Alway seems to be active lake should be able to start catching burbot there. If you got the time it's worth the adventure.

I don't think he ever owned it, he just managed it. I never saw him this weekend but just think he was away. He took my reservation the week before....
