Default hermitage pond feb. 12

got up late today and saw that it was 5 above so the wife and i went for a quicky down to hermitage. got there at 2:30 and there were 5 other anglers that hadn't had any luck. got our 1'st bite within an hour but never got one iced. a young couple and there 2 year old son drove their truck onto the ice and set up. first time i've seen that. the father caught a nice 16" but they left after their son stepped in a hole and filled his boots. at least we know it hasn't winterkilled yet. trying a new lake tommorrow.
