Default Wind

She's already hit 148 km/ph at the plant this morning good day to stay off the road if you're pulling a trailer in the southwest corner, tumble weeds, gravel blowin into the windshield, I predict 160+ for today.

A couple times today I’ve thought my house was gonna come off it’s foundation. Luckily the wind knocked down all of my weaker trees over the last couple years. The remaining ones should be fine.

Ottawa has had a dangerous amount of wind since 2015.

I remember driving out to Beaver Mines one day in February, chinook had blown in hard overnight...I had to keep the pedal on the old truck mashed to go downhill into the wind, watching rocks blow up the road...and all the melted snow water could hardly flow down the ditches, the wind was literally damming it....insanity.

Rural Ft. Macleod, and today we have lost 4 sections of wind fence the uprights snapped at the ground, our hot tub surround (8"x8" posts) destroyed, and as of this evening, the roof is peeling off the SW corner of our metal barn. And the forecast is for another 12 hours of 120km+ winds.

It’s a real breezy day here today. They closed the coop lumber yard due to the wind. It’s almost dangerous to be walking around.
