Red face Cow Lake RMH

Just wondering if its worth the drive out to cow lake south of Rocky Mountain house. I was thinking of taking my 7 year old out to try for some perch. its been a couple years since I have fished the lake about 5 to be exact. Are there still perch and pike in there ? The Kids only last an hour or two with out catching anything, they happy to catch small perch all day. Thanks for the information.

It has a massive winter kill two years ago. Wasn’t much left, though I’m sure a few pike and perch survived.

They have restarted stocking with Rainbow Trout (it was once known as a big trout lake)

Haven’t tried it since the kill…maybe others can pipe in.
