The sitka discount thread got me thinking. Does the "Pro Staffer" trend cheapen your favorite brands?. Do you avoid products that are hawked by annoying hunting show hosts?. Does brand loyalty affect your purchasing behavior?

This isnt a jealousy thing....i have no desire to have my name associated with a brand.

Thats good, I would hate to stop buying gear because you had your name associated with it.

I do think the Sitka gear is over priced
It is good stuff but over priced, the pro staff discount is %50 for anyone wondering

I like gear that is well made and light weight ...
I do use a lot of Sitka , but Kuiu is getting better and I'm buying more of there stuff,
I'm loyal to a point , but if there's something better I'm all for it

I agree with your comments about Sitka vs Kuiu. Love tr Kuiu brand, I hope they don't go to "mainstream"

In the way of my Pro Staff we do not support any particular brand. We do however support tested and approved products. If we don't give it a through test then we don't promote it.

My pro staff are not paid although receiving discounts from some of our friends in the industry there is no reason for them to be Brand loyal other then the MHAF brand! I think that some products like "Duck Dynasty" labeled ones are cheeper made and mostly crap. if it has their name on it then don't buy it.

But dont look at the brand look at the product and how it is made and the reviews.
