Default Temple Grandin...

I was watching George whats his name on CBC the other night and he interviewed this lady named Temple Grandin. I normally don`t get too intrigued by interviews but this hooked me the moment he talked about her. Amazing woman, Watched the movie tonight and am even more amazed how the world will look at someone funny if they are not excatly the same as everyone else.

Here is a link to the trailer if someone want to watch

Had the privilege of hearing her speak at the Horse Breeders conference, a few years ago. Not much to look at, but very few people have a better understanding of domestic animal behavior. Understand at one point she even got on her hands and knees to experience cattle handling facilities from their own level. Top it off, she has been diagnosed as autistic.

Had the opportunity to meet with Ms Grandin on many occasions. Not big on social graces for sure! She is, however, considered "the" guru of livestock and livestock handling facilities world wide. Her livestock handling principles are used for teaching livestock-handling in every major packing plant in north america.
She has done very well for herself, despite her autism. A very intelligent individual.

I did not get to see her in person but I agree the movie was good. I watched it about 1 month ago.
